This is the layout I decided to start with. Huge, electricaly complicated, but not enough track to complete.

OK, let's get started. Here are come pics of the partial layout

Of course we test functionality as we go.

With all of the above work torn down, I re-started with this layout

Text Box: OK, got the table painted, lowered, what next?
Well, I started with a layout as shown in Fleischman's M3 Layout Catalog (great book!) and after getting at least some of it done, finally realized that I just didn't have enough of on certain piece of track that I needed to finish the job, (needed 27 more pieces) and Fleischman no longer makes that piece of track, so I decided to tear it all down, and start with the layout that we had set up in Indiana.  I am still working on that layout, and will update pictures as I make progress. OOPS! Got to get the cork roadbed laid before securing the track down.  Tear some of it back up, lay roadbed, and do track again.  Typical Keystone Cop!
